I went to a very competitive school. I'm still unsure of whether this was how other undergraduate schools were or not. A lot of people kept their trials and tribulations secret and even more kept their path to success secret but loved to share that victory itself.
We all are here for the same thing. We want a college degree. Me having a degree is not going to affect you having one. Me having a degree is not taking away from my degree.
If you learn of an easy course, share it with the student body! We all need it.
If you learn of a course that fulfills multiple requirements, share it with the student body! We're all limited on time despite our endless supply of credits needed to graduate.
If you learn a nice acronym to remember something for an exam, share it with your classmates! Chances are that they will share some wisdom with you as well and you both will succeed together regardless of the curve!
If you no an upperclassmen who is feeding you nuggets of knowledge, share that with your classmate. They may be the first in their family to go to college or be far from home with little to no support system.
We need to start working with each other rather than against each other. Again, we're all here for the same thing.
